My mistake! It was Filecluster - not Brothersoft that I found the misnamed Comodo FW 5.10. Comodo’s free Antivirus software for Windows has a better approach. This strategy leaves open a window of vulnerability from unknown threats that can last for hours or even days. If you want to add Webroot Wifi Security and protect up to Comodo Antivirus Vs The Competitors Support Cost Per Year. The end result was that Comodo's AV was on my system for about 20 minutes, and then consigned to oblivion. Most free Antivirus software battles threats they know, not new ones they've never encountered. And not impressed with sites that can't be bothered correctly identifying a product. IMO my little episode reflects poorly on the packaging\marketing on Comodo's part – if a product is offered as an AV – that is what one should get. Comodo Complete Antivirus costs 29.99 for one PC or 39.99 per year. It bundles everything you get with the free version alongside a few extra tools such as a firewall, web filtering tool to block malicious websites, and a secure shopping feature. This proved very difficult, however, I eventually found a copy on Brothersoft web site – yep, CFW V5.10 it said - but the size was not right! (127MBs) when I checked further, I discovered that this was in fact, the complete CIS V6! Comodo Complete Antivirus is Comodo’s paid version of its software. I'll refer you to my review of the antivirus for full details on these features. So I decided to search for another copy of Comodo FW 5.10 to reverse this installation. Complete protection for all of your devices at only 29.99 per device includes an award-winning firewall, host intrusion prevention. The majority of Comodo Firewall's features are also found in Comodo Antivirus 10 (0.00 at Comodo Antivirus). I downloaded what I thought was Comodo's AV from Major Geeks - no version specified – (a bad mistake on my part in not researching further!) - what I got was not what I had expected – got the AV OK, I also got the Firewall, Dragon browser and Geek buddy nonsense - and at Version 6 no less! So I was not impressed! While I use Comodo FW V6 in Windows 8 Pro, I still much prefer V5.10. Excellent Anti Virus with Remote access to Endpoints. The last time I tried Comodo AV was some time ago, and that was as part of CIS 5.12 (in Windows 8 Pro) The Comodo Endpoint Agent coupled with the Endpoint protection is very good. I run Comodo FW 5.10 in Windows 7 圆4 (MSE as AV) and last night decided to try Comodo's AV to see what, if any memory improvements might result.
